Multi Line Field Adjuster/Property Adjuster

• Multi Line Field Adjuster with Supervisory Experience – Must possess a strong work ethic and have field and claims experience in Commercial and Personal Auto, Homeowner’s and General Liability experience. Responsible for timely resolution of individual cases, with emphasis on thorough investigations and analysis. Must be able to utilize appropriate field and other internal resources, as well as have the ability to effectively elicit pertinent information and documentation from all parties to the investigation. Must adhere to in-house, as well as the outside account’s reporting criteria.
  

• Property Adjuster – Responsible for an average caseload of forty-five claims throughout the state of Massachusetts. Must also possess a strong work ethic and have field and claims experience including Homeowner’s and Commercial Property, as well as Industrial type claims experience. Experience with hazardous waste claims would be considered a plus.

• Liability Field Investigator – Must possess the ability to work independently utilizing strong organization and communication skills. Responsible for investigating, determining liability and negotiating settlements of liability claims, including Automobile, Homeowners, Businessowners and General Liability claims. Requires the ability to complete timely in-depth investigations and thorough coverage analysis for both personal and commercial line claims. Must effectively gather pertinent information and documentation, obtains statements from insureds, claimants and witnesses, negotiate settlements and identify third party potential. The ability to appraise property damage and construction experience a plus. Must be able to utilize internal and external resources and adhere to in-house, as well as outside account's reporting criteria.

All candidates will have extensive public contact and travel experience, strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills and a minimum of 5 years experience handling claims. Knowledge of the policy language, forms and endorsements specific to each type of claim. Working knowledge of coverage analysis and functionality a must. Excel a plus. We will consider candidates with real estate appraisal and construction experience. A strong knowledge of building materials and construction techniques a plus. A private investigator’s license, customer service experience, knowledge of legal liability and general insurance policy coverage helpful.

Education/Licenses:
Bachelor’s Degree and/or Insurance Related Courses preferred.
Licensed throughout New England preferred.
